We Are Looking to Add a Key Member to Our Enterprise IT Team!

The Solution Architect is responsible for translating business strategy into solution architecture, leading high-level solution design and analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver solutions that align business outcomes.

The Solution Architect will be part of the modernization of our systems as well as working with the ecosystem with integrations to various partners and technologies!

As a Solution Architect, You’ll:

  • Use Your Analytical Mind! Lead evaluation, high-level design and analysis for the implementation of a solution architecture across business applications and/or technologies. Also, lead analysis of current systems and technologies utilized by product teams to detect critical deficiencies, legacy and technical debt, and recommend solutions for improvement.
  • Use Your Organizational Skills! You will be responsible for development roadmaps of systems within the enterprise application portfolio. Additionally, you will focus on the development and management of the architecture products & program initiatives, with the consideration of the future state.
  • Be Accountable! Provide consulting support to Business Operation Leaders, Product Team Leaders, Architects, Program Managers, Enterprise Technology Group leaders and Team Members.
  • Be an Active listener and Problem Solver! Lead technology evaluations and selections for new and end of life solution decisions to procure/maintain/refresh/retire products, services or systems.
  • Be Detail-Oriented! You will ensure complete documentation of solution architecture and analysis, including high-level level design.
  •  Be a Thought Leader! Identify organizational impact (skills, processes, structures, culture, systems) and financial impact of solution architecture options.
  •  Be a Bridge Builder! Translate business and technical requirements into an architectural roadmap, across products, services, program initiatives and systems.
  • Be Solution Driven! Facilitate the evaluation, proof-of-concept, and selection of software product standards and services. Also participate in architecture review board (ARB) sessions and present solution design for ARB approval.
  •  Have Leadership and Team Support! Work with Product Engineering, Infrastructure, Enterprise Security and Data Management team to ensure that delivered solutions align with the intended designs and Information Security standards/policies to execute our mission to help our customers achieve greater success.

To be successful in this role you’ll need:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related area.
  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in design and implementation in multiple technology practice areas (Infrastructure, Application Development, Integration, Data Management, Others)
  • 8+ years of solution architecture experience in developing architecture and design documents and roadmaps
  • 5+ years of experience facilitating and leading work sessions to produce related technical design documents and deliverables for large complex program initiatives.
  • Extensive exposure to multiple technical architecture approaches
  • Strong knowledge of API concepts, and other integration strategies
  • Experience with a cloud or hybrid platforms such as Azure and AWS
  • Experience with the platform and ecosystem.
  • Strong understanding of product vs. project delivery approaches
  • Deep analytical understanding of technology design patterns
  • Agile/Iterative mindset and proven track of practice
  • Fluent in creating flowcharts, wireframes, and/or other system artifacts and system design tools
  • Knowledge of enterprise, solution architecture and agile delivery frameworks (FEA, TOGAF, SaFe)
