We are looking to add a key member to our Documentations team! 

Leadership position within the function responsible for providing guidance and support to Documentation Specialists with an emphasis on Team Member development and career growth.  In this role, you will create and encourage a culture of continual improvement including challenging of the status quo, root cause analysis, piloting new processes and encouraging ideas from all levels to drive GreatAmerica’s digital transformation.

 

As a Documentations Leader you'll: 

  • Promote the GreatAmerica Experience as standard practice.
  • Champion and support improvements within the function and company as needed, including but not limited to, sponsoring and leading functional initiative projects, ensuring we are in alignment with corporate strategic goals.
  • Lead Documentation functional jurisdictions (as assigned) to ensure continued growth and development of the function.
  • Hold frontline Team Members accountable for meeting expectations related to performance and culture.
  • Work with Documentation Team Members to set individual goals and to create Personal Development Plans that support their continued growth.
  • Complete performance reviews of Documentation Team Members (i.e. initial six month, mid-year, annual, etc.).
  • Manage and direct day-to-day operations of the function, reporting operational activity upstream.
  • Hold (at a minimum) monthly one-on-one meetings with team members to discuss their development and goals.
  • Actively participate in and/or lead functional and leadership meetings.
  • Build relationships and collaborate with Team Leaders and Functional Leader peers.
  • Hire and promote for technical and cultural abilities.
  • Consistent and proactive communication to Director and Business Unit Operations Leaders on successes, challenges, and changes in the areas that they lead.
  • Have in-depth understanding of the markets and industries we serve.

Computer Skills: Knowledge of Vision, SalesForce, Microsoft Office-Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint etc., Ability to use T-Value and HP financial calculator.
