We Are Looking to Add a Key Member to Our Franchise Business Unit!

The Credit Syndication Coordinator is primarily responsible for supporting the Sales team within the Franchise business unit by evaluating the credit profile of potential customers and determining the best structure for each opportunity.

As a Credit Syndication Coordinator, you will:

  • Exercise Sound Business Judgement! Review opportunities developed by the Sales team. Based upon the financial strength, viability, and economic conditions, determine if transactions align with the credit profile at GreatAmerica or of a syndication partner. From there, you will determine the best structure for the opportunity, whether conventional, SBA, or working capital.
  • Be Solution Driven! As you work to secure credit approvals, you will collaborate with Account Executives to gather additional information. When needed, you will connect with customers directly to obtain the information necessary to secure an approval.
  • Use Your Financial Skills! Analyze credit information to create a Credit Package which includes a Credit Summary and all relevant credit information necessary to secure a credit decision.
  • Be a Subject Matter Expert: You will be at the heart of the team and at the heart of each transaction. You will be the first point of contact for the Credit Team or syndication partner.
  • Have Leadership and Team Support! Work in a well-tenured and cross-functional team. You’ll frequently interact with Sales, Sales Support, Administration, Credit, Documentation, and more. You’ll have dedicated Leadership there to provide support in your role and in the execution of our mission to help our customers achieve greater success.

To be successful in this role you’ll need:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field is required
  • Excellent analytical skills, the ability process information quickly, and to make prudent business decisions which result in win-win outcomes
  • Previous experience with financial products, preferably mortgages or business loans and a familiarity with financial statements
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Superior organizational skills and a powerful sense of urgency
