Position Summary
The National Account Manager (EVSE) will lead GreatAmerica’s sales efforts in the growing Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment market. Collaborate with Senior Leadership to establish and execute the sales and marketing strategy to drive sustainable, profitable finance opportunities. This is a high-level, sales contributor role with functional leadership of Account Manager(s) within the EVSE team. Accountable for prospecting, onboarding, and supporting strategic relationships with OEM manufacturers and Channel sales providers in the EVSE market.
Essential Functions
- Develop and implement programs to complement our customers’ strategic initiatives to drive finance volume for GreatAmerica.
- Provide functional leadership and strategic direction for EVSE Account Manager(s).
- Understand and navigate internal sales and operations processes to appropriately balance the risks/needs of GreatAmerica with the wants/demands of our customers and the marketplace in general.
- Ensure GreatAmerica is viewed as a valuable business partner and is the primary financial services provider for our customers.
- Work with Sales Support Team and Account Manager(s) to ensure tactical and transactional duties are performed daily and exceed customer expectations.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales leadership to create and distribute print material, digital content, and presentations used to support the assigned territory/account(s).
- Maintain current and thorough understanding of the markets we serve to provide strategic insight to our partners and deliver regular, proactive education to our team.
- Track, plan and implement effective trade show and/or customer driven event participation.
- Ensure clean, credible data is stored within available internal systems including, but not limited to Vision and Salesforce.com.
- Up to 30% travel; overnight and weekends required.

Education: Bachelor’s degree required
Experience: 5+ years sales experience in the EVSE, Solar, and/or similar “Green” energy fields. Proven success working with large (100+ employees) and/or National Accounts. Successful track record of leading others (in person and remotely). Experience in a strategic role with proven ability to project manage.
Skills and Abilities
Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, TEAMS, Salesforce.com or comparable CRM tools
Other Requirements: Public speaking experience strongly preferred to both internal and external audiences. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are a must. Demonstrated ability to influence and build relationships at the C-level. Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to work independently. |
