Position Summary

 

Responsible for providing complete transactional support within an assigned territory to assist Sales Representatives and Team achieve stated volume goals.  Must possess a combination of strong communication skills, cross-functional knowledge of Division and Company, and strong organization skills to manage a diverse workflow of daily business.

 

Essential Functions

  • Accountable for the efficient transaction flow (application to funding) within assigned territory (i.e. assist with application entry, communicate credit decisions, manage backlog, documentation/documentation changes, credit appeals, etc.).
  • Maintains direct working relationships with existing vendor base, sales representatives, office personnel, etc. to support current and future business needs.Effective verbal and written communication with various levels of our vendor’s organization to strengthen entire company relationship with GreatAmerica.
  • Working knowledge and practice of GreatAmerica’s Sales Process and Vendor Onboarding Process to effectively manage new vendor opportunities and build long-term relationships.
  • Strong command of credit and documentation knowledge to effectively communicate and navigate across functions to deliver solutions to our vendors. Comfort appealing a credit decision and knowing when to suggest an exception on documentation or booking procedures from Senior Leadership.
  • Calculates rebooks, handles rate adjustment requests, manages cancellations, and works with vendors to provide solutions for complex add-ons and/or agreement adjustments.
  • Performs miscellaneous projects to assist Sales as required (i.e. Sales promotions, SFDC updates, process improvements, etc).
  • Manage vendor program information, including rate cards and communicate any/all changes internally as appropriate.
  • Champion improvements within the function and team as needed, including but not limited to, sponsoring and leading initiative projects and policy/procedure changes.
  • Periodic travel with Sales Reps in territory that the role supports; including strengthening relationships with vendors, on site help/support with process flow needs, industry events, etc.

Experience: 3-5 years of job related experience required.

 

Skills and Abilities

 

Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook.  Ability to type at least 60 words per minute is also a plus.

           

Other Requirements: PSS Trained, Achieved level of Yield Authority, Strong organizational, analytical and follow-through skills, Ability to multi-task, effectively prioritize duties, and detail oriented, Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and proven past delivery of “The GreatAmerica Experience”, Willingness to Travel- this role will may require travel at less than 3%.
