Position Summary

 

Position is responsible for identifying key accounts and developing financing solutions that lead to increased financing volume. This requires conducting analysis to identify market opportunities and customer needs with the intent of increasing financing market share for GreatAmerica. Must be able to cultivate and maintain favorable contacts with customers to sell financing solutions.

 

Essential Functions

 

  • Develops strategies and programs to promote increased sales for vendors and results in additional financing volume for GreatAmerica
  • Calls on new vendor accounts to determine vendor’s business needs and presents GreatAmerica solutions and program
  • Prospects potential vendors in territory by performing research to identify viable sales opportunities.
  • Demonstrates a consultative Sales approach utilizing Professional Selling Skills and Miller Heiman training
  • Develops and consistently maintains a territory plan for growth opportunities in both existing and new or prospect accounts.
  • Responsible for maintaining call and travel expectations to ensure budgeted goals are achieved
  • Communicates effectively with internal GA team members to ensure successful onboarding of new relationships and the implementation of customized solutions
  • Ensures delivery of a quality portfolio as measured by volume, delinquency, yield, etc.
  • Is in attendance during business hours with minimal absences per GreatAmerica’s attendance policy.Attendance includes travel expectations requiring nights and occasional weekend travel.

Experience: Two years of sales experience preferred

Other Requirements: Must possess superior consultative sales approach for originating and closing business.  Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical and problem solving skills are required.  Must be able to multi-task and posses exceptional organizational and follow-up skills. Must possess a high degree of business acumen and judgement to make appropriate decisions.
