About this position:

 

Do you like to multi-task and assist customers in handling requests?  Do you enjoy building and strengthening relationships?  As a Sales Support Specialist, you will work together with our sales reps and with our current customers to support their ongoing business needs. 

 

In this position you will process all finance transactions associated with ongoing dealer business.  In addition to the transactional needs, you will develop and maintain relationships with our customers in order to deliver on our commitments.  Your team includes individuals from sales, collections, account support, documentation and credit working towards common goals to better serve our customers each day and take our business to new heights.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Ensure paperwork and processes are followed in order to move transactions from application to funding.
  • Provide support to Documentation with end of month phone verifications and any paperwork changes as needed.
  • Ensure all program agreements, vendor summaries and promotional materials are updated and accurate as required.

Daily Expectations

  • Solution incoming calls and e-mails to assist with customer requests.
  • Process credit applications for underwriting and communicate credit decisions to customers and/or applicants.
  • Create lease/loan documents for vendor and/or customer execution.
  • Follow up on pended credit decisions and providing requested information to credit underwriter.
  • Image incoming documents.
  • Back-up other Sales Support Specialists on team.
  • Proficient in all necessary GreatAmerica programs needed to perform job responsibilities.
  • Provide Back-up to Sales Reps
    • Call customer’s to discuss programs, promotions, rate quotes or credit information.
    • Assist with outbound marketing efforts; phone, email, trade events as examples.
    • Update Salesforce as needed.
    • Attend Professional Selling Skills Training in Cedar Rapids (Required for Sales Support Specialist II)


Position Qualifications

Education, experience and skills required:

For this position you must be a high school graduate or equivalent plus have a minimum of 1 year administrative experience.  Must possess mathematical aptitude and be detail oriented.  The ability to work in a team environment with exceptional time management and organizational skills is a must. The ideal candidate should have a strong customer service focus with excellent verbal and written communication skills. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and execute with frequent interruptions.
