Billing Solutions Specialist (Cedar Rapids, IA)

About this position:

Do you take pride in maintaining quality and accuracy in your work?  Join GreatAmerica as a Billing Solutions Specialist!  You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet the billing needs of our customers.  In this position, you will be the go-to for problem solving or assisting with complex billing situations. 

One of your responsibilities will include manual meter reading entry which requires a high attention to detail and a high level of 10-key accuracy.  As a Dealer Solutions Specialist, you must demonstrate problem solving skills, be solution driven and have the ability to adapt to multiple situations and changing environments.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Book new Cost-Per-Image (CPI) contracts in Usage Transaction System (aka UTS, GreatAmerica’s CPC Tracking/Billing software).  Process includes, but is not limited to:
    1. verification of paperwork within the file
    2. providing feedback to the Teams to ensure that the correct data is received with the new bookings and
    3. setting up billing data with a high level of accuracy to ensure that our billings are as accurate as possible
  • Audit files to ensure accurate booking and to provide feedback
  • Occasionally perform random audits or audit new team members to help them learn the booking process faster
  • Meter reading entry
  • Troubleshoot meter upload files received from dealers
  • Assist with processing of team emails
  • Take inbound calls from dealers and customers and provides timely and accurate support
  • Process Supplements Amendments as received
  • Troubleshoot and process meter readings received from dealers via the upload process which includes all validation check points
  • Manage out-bound meter reading faxes 
  • Troubleshoot failed faxes in RightFax logs for Customer Direct, Dealer Direct, and Final Meter Faxes
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Education, experience and skills required:

 For this position you must have an Associate’s degree in a business-related field; a Bachelor’s degree is a plus.  Two plus years of financial or leasing experience is desired.
