Job Description

Position Summary

 

Provides support to executive leadership, relieving them of as much day to day administrative duties as possible. Responsible for handling confidential and time sensitive information working with both internal and external personnel.   Duties require excellent knowledge of GreatAmerica, and diplomacy and judgment in dealing with a wide range of situations.  Position requires the ability to anticipate problems, initiate appropriate action, and administer confidential information with discretion.

 

Essential Functions

 

  • Performs administrative duties requiring considerable judgment, initiative, and knowledge of GreatAmerica Financial Services (for the SSG business unit; including Pathshare).
  • Schedules appointments, determining priorities and maintaining executive calendars.
  • Maintain Insight page for business units.
  • Maintains various information systems (Connectwise, One Call Now, CPO Tracker).
  • Assists in information gathering for strategic planning sessions.
  • Provide coverage for our dispatch role as necessary (limited basis).
  • Update display systems in (Company, Collabrance Front Office & Network Operations Center).
  • Plan team outing/events.
  • Leads planning efforts for various Business Unit events including:
  • Event management – handles registration, travel requests, customer lists & bios, AV needs; i.e. BTA, CDA, ITEX, SL-GAMIT, Navigator & Pathshare and Collabrance Training sessions.
  • Assist Account Managers with compiling marketing materials for dealer trips, visits, table tents, binders, etc.
  • Process expense reports for business unit team leaders.
  • Webinar registration, tracking participation & set up.
  • Organize staff meetings and quarterly BU meetings
  • Assist Strategic Marketing Director
  • Drive Training Video creation
  • Blogs
  • Back up website administrator
  • Work with Concur business owner as an administrator
  • Continuous Improvement Committee champion
  • As member of Administrative team, provides administrative support to all areas of the company as necessary.
  • Lives the GreatAmerica principles; involved in cross functional team efforts as assigned and required.
  • Performs other duties as required.
