Finance Administrative Assistant (Cedar Rapids, IA)
Job Description

Position Summary

The Finance Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the Finance team.  The position is also responsible for imaging source documents so that all employees have electronic access to dealer/transaction files; and to account for, organize and store the original documents, as necessary.

Essential Functions

  • Process incoming and outgoing mail/commercial deliveries including intercompany mail
  • Maintain check log on a daily basis
  • Primary liaison between GreatAmerica and pre-sort company, postage equipment vendor and invoice print outsource company
  • Process lessee proof of insurance certificates & equipment address changes
  • Responsible for ordering and maintaining office supply inventory
  • Image miscellaneous originals, amendments, collection, legal and other documents as the scope of imaging broadens
  • Track originals to ensure they are properly sorted, stamped, and filed in correct fireproof safe and storage facility
  • Prepare and image dealer and lease files into OnBase.
  • Transport completed files to various storage facilities.
  • Stamp and file original lease documents
  • Pull, stamp, segregate and properly re-file leases for securitization.
  • Other duties as assigned.
