About this position:


Do you enjoy building relationships?  As a Director, Business Development you will be responsible for identifying key accounts and developing and presenting leasing solutions.  This requires conducting a market analysis to determine customer needs, volume potential, pricing schedules and strategies to penetrate market.  You must be able to cultivate and maintain favorable contacts with customers to sell leasing services.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for developing and delivering successful strategies to maximize dealers’ sales growth in both existing and new dealer accounts while managing the sales funnel.
  • Successfully utilizes Professional Selling Skills training to enhance overall sales volume.
  • Prospects potential vendors in territory by performing research to identify viable sales opportunities.
  • Calls on new vendor accounts to determine vendor’s business needs and present GreatAmerica leasing solutions.
  • Develops strategies and programs to increase sales and lease volume for GreatAmerica.
  • Trains vendor sales personnel on the documentation requirements and credit policies necessary to generate transactions.
  • Responsible for maintaining call goal expectations.
  • Develops and maintain ongoing improvement of GreatAmerica’s sales process.
  • Ensures delivery of a quality portfolio as measured by volume, delinquency, yield, etc.
  • Is attendance during business hours with minimal absences per GreatAmerica’s attendance policy.Attendance includes participation in some out of town work that requires nights and weekends.

**Hours will be 8:30-5:30.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Education, experience and skills required:

For this position you must possess a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or equivalent.  A minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales is required.   
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.  You must possess strong business acumen and judgment to make appropriate decisions as well as strong negotiation and follow through skills.  Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical and problem solving skills are required.
