About this position:

Do you enjoy problem-solving?  Do you enjoy being accurate and thorough in your work?  As a Cash Applications Specialist, you will apply lease payments quickly and accurately to ensure accurate invoicing, delinquency reporting, timely late charge posting and to promote strong dealer relationships. 

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Apply payments received by various methods,(Lockbox, Ach, Wire), in conjunction with lease contracts.
  • Assist with daily reconciliations to ensure applications are complete and accurate.
  • Work with Account Support and other teams/functions on requests of payment reapplications.
  • Lives the GreatAmerica principles; involved in cross functional team efforts as required and assigned. 
Position Qualifications

Education, experience and skills required:

For all GreatAmerica team members:  Honesty/Integrity, Customer Oriented, Accountability, Tenacious, Communication Skills (Oral & Written), Adaptability       

For this position: Accuracy, Detail-Oriented, Organized, Interpersonal, Problem Solving

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.  Two-year college education desired. 

Experience: One to three years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Skills and Abilities

Computer Skills: Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.             

Other Requirements: Ten-key calculator, ability to multi-task, ability to work in a fast paced environment, ability to meet deadlines, ability to be a strong positive team player.
